Richard Schmon is a freelance photographer based in Vancouver, Canada. Richard’s passion for photography began while studying cinematography at The Maine Photographic Workshops in Rockport, Maine.

After receiving his degree, Richard spent ten years working with some of the most respected and talented cinematographers in the film industry under which he developed his unique way of seeing.

Whether he is photographing people, wildlife or sports, Richard has a gift for capturing the essence of his subjects. His relaxed manner and easy-going interpersonal style quickly puts his subjects at ease, creating the ideal atmosphere to catch special and unique images.
